K.T.&K Antique Warranted Granite Ironstone Covered Serving Dish
K.T.&K Antique Warranted Granite Ironstone Covered Serving Dish
K.T.&K. Stands for Knowles, Taylor, and Knowles Pottery Company, East Liverpool, Ohio. In business from 1854 to 1931. Covered Ironstone oval dish was produced between 1872 and 1891. The Ironstone is known for durability and timeless good looks. Seems to be rare. There is fading of gold line around top of dish and some rough spots on bottom inside. Looks like had those roughs spots when made. Normal signs of wear on bottom. Basically amazing condition for being so old. Approximate measurements are 11” handle to handle and 6 1/2” wide. Inside dish measures 8” x 6” and 3” deep.Imperial Tea set
