Antique Rare Victorian Gutta Percha Mourning Chain Link Very Long No Pendant

A really rare gutta percha mourning chain from the Victorian era. Usually these chains come with a statement pendant but this is just the chain as is. No clasp, just a black thread holding two together - as seen in photo 5. A very long chain - do not want to break the thread so please message me for estimate length measurements instead if interested.

Could use a cleaning and could be reused to attach to a pendant.
