Vintage Mid 20th Century Rustic Iron Pedestal Basket, Metal Garden Planter

This is a beautifully patinaed rustic iron and steel pedestal basket made in the late 1960s. It would look fabulous in spring, summer and fall with your overflowing flowers or ivy. It would also make an amazing French farmhouse interior design piece or even an ornate fruit basket atop your kitchen counter. The basket has scrolling on either side of its handles and metal loops along its pedestal base. The bottom of the basket is finished off with metal weaving and the top of the handle is wrapped in metal twine like rope. This piece could be painted if you desired, but it is lovely as is. It weighs in at approximately 4.5lbs.
